On behalf of the Leadership Team for the Connecticut Network of Care Transformation (CONNECT) initiative, you are invited to a Regional CONNECT Network of Care Development Meeting.
The purpose of CONNECT is to create a partnership between families, state agencies, and service providers at the local, regional and state levels to support children, youth, and families in accessing the services they need in a timely and effective manner through an integrated network of care.
The purpose of this meeting is to promote understanding of the goals and deliverables of the CONNECT initiative, update progress, and discuss ways that families and state cross-system partners and providers can improve collaboration to strengthen the efforts of local and regional networks of care.
The CONNECT initiative is reaching out to partners from all of the following child-serving sectors : behavioral health, child welfare, early childhood, juvenile justice, substance abuse, education, advocacy groups and the families and children they serve. All are invited to attend this regional update meeting.
The CONNECT initiative has a small amount of funding to be allocated to local
efforts that support ongoing parent and youth involvement (through limited stipends) and incentives to support coalition building across multiple community groups and collaboratives. The process for the allocation of these funds will be discussed.
