I AM ME
The Community Coalition for Children presents I Am Me, a year long celebration of the diversity in the Southeastern Connecticut Area culminating in a multimedia presentation created by our community. Based on a project called I Am Why, this project will celebrate our community; who they are and the passions they have in this world centered around justice, equity, and advocacy. We are inviting community members of all ages to be creative in how they see themselves in this world: it could be art of any kind – spoken word, fine art, essays, dance, music, etc. There is no limit to the ideas out there.
This project is ever growing and evolving, but we invite all organizations within our community to join us in this important project as we come together to celebrate who we are as a Southeastern CT Community. The Community Coalition for Children’s mission is to help children thrive and we hope as the collaborators of this event to bring together the organizations already doing great work in the community and show our community the strength of our young people.
